As participants in a mobile culture, our default is to move. God embraces our broken world, and I have no doubt that God can use our movement for good. But I am convinced that we lose something essential to our existence as creatures if we do not recognize our fundamental need for stability. Trees can be transplanted, often with magnificent results. But their default is to stay. Jonathan WilsonHartgrove
About This Quote

The idea that we can move and we can stay is a good point that I agree with. We can move and we can stay and we can go and we can come back. We can do what we like and the world will not change. We can be in our homes and still be part of the world.

However, there is also an idea of moving on to something else after things settle down. I am not sure if this is a good thing or not as I do not think it is possible to be in two places at once.
